May Song has been one of the most fun songs to play as a beginner. Love this song, it’s so cheerful and sweet! Here, I play it in three different speeds: 89 (Andante), 100 (Moderato), and 116 (Allegretto) BPM.
I see the same issues in this video as I do with O Come, Little Children. Probably because I recorded these two songs on the same day. I also used my 2nd violin, a restored Marquis VN100.
In a nutshell, I still need to work on my intonation, bowing, and tension. Also, my dynamics are not well defined. I guess I’ll work on that once I feel satisfied with my intonation and bowing.
