Know When To Move On – Before It’s Too Late

This rendition of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” is an example of what happens when you work on a piece for too long. The lesson here is: know when to move on before you burnout on a song, and it’s no longer fun to play anymore. I don’t play this piece perfectly and I won’t achieve perfection at this time. I will have to let it go and come back in about 6 months or so, when I’ve achieved a little more skill in my violin journey.
